Most lawns benefit from mowing once per week during the growing season. This helps maintain healthy height and promotes lush growth.
If it rains, we adjust our routes to the next available dry day. We avoid mowing saturated lawns to prevent soil compaction and turf damage, ensuring your lawn stays healthy and looks its best.
The ideal time to mow is mid-morning, between 8–10 AM. Grass is usually dry and not yet stressed by the afternoon heat.
Mulching is recommended because it returns nutrients to the soil. Bagging may be better if grass is overgrown or excessively wet.
Follow the one-third rule: never cut more than one-third of the grass blade at once. Most lawns do best at 2.5 to 3.5 inches tall.
